A GHOSTLY PLACE

On our way to the library,
we drove passed a state mental hospital
cemetery,
a bit of history.

A graveyard
for the mentally ill,
a monument to what used to be;

tombstones standing tall,
honoring old bones,
minds lost forever,
a ghostly place.
