Rain Poems 1.
Amo los Días de Lluvia
Oh, cuánto amo los días de lluvia
Las gotas, el viento, el ruido
La humedad del agua
Su tacto suave
Oh, cuánto amo los días de lluvia
La calma y la furia
Los truenos y el silencio
El grito de amor
Oh, cuánto amo los días de lluvia ...
I Love Rainy Days
Oh, how much I love rainy days
The drops, the wind, the sound
The wetness of the water
Its soothing touch
Oh, how much I love rainy days
the calm and the fury
the thunders and the silence
the cry for love
Oh, how much I love rainy days…

Hogar
Está lloviendo esta mañana
y el viento está forzando
las hojas a caer
Las verdes luchan
para permanecer en las ramas
las amarillas se rinden
Adentro de la casa
el viejo niño desliza su cometa
mientras tres hermanas
con las manos y las crines anudadas
sueñan con espirales,
medias lunas
y el amor
Un Sagrado Corazón arde
flanqueado por un arco
de piernas abiertas
Acariciado por hojas rojas y anaranjadas
hierba, burbujas
y nubes
La ventana captura
las gotas de lluvia
para alimentar a la Tara Verde, Ganesha
y a la diosa de un pecho,
Y apoyándose junto a los escalones
una madre y su hijo
abrazan el pescado de la cena
mientras la anciana espera el autobús
y el Buda rojo descansa feliz
en la puerta de la entrada
donde cuelgan los elefantes.
Al lado, el pianista
toca canciones melancólicas
y la ráfaga se suaviza
dando paso a un intermedio para sollozar
Se ha encendido una vela
el olor del incienso
conquista el ánimo
y las ramas bailan con facilidad
entre la llovizna y el viento
Sigue lloviendo esta mañana
el follaje ha salpicado mis paredes
y ahora estamos todos aquí
Deidades, hojas, corazones, lunas,
aguas, fuegos y poemas.

Rain Poems 2.
Home
It is raining this morning
and the wind is forcing
the leaves to fall
the green ones’ wrestle
to stay on branches
the yellow ones’ surrender
without a fight
In the house
the old child glides his kite
while three sisters
holding hands and manes
think of spirals
half-moons
and love
A sacred heart is burning
flanked by and arch
with open legs
cuddled by red and orange leaves
grass, bubbles
and clouds
The windows capture the raindrops
to nourish Green Tara, Ganesha,
and the goddess of one breast
Leaning beside the steps
a mother and her son
embrace a fish for dinner
while the old lady waits for the bus
and the red Buddha rest with happiness
by the gateway, where the elephants hang.
Next door, the pianist
plays melancholic tunes
and the gust soften…
there is an intermission to sob
A candle has been lit
the smell of incense
conquers the mood
and the twigs dance with ease
amid the drizzle and the wind
It is still raining this morning
the foliage splattered over my walls
and now we are all here
Deities, leaves, hearts, moons,
waters, fires and poems.
